Surprisingly, the simplest products are also the most difficult to design. I was not happy with other wall mounts available on the market. I found them complicated, bulky and not always reliable. I therefore imagined this bracket of disconcerting simplicity and sober elegance which will highlight the most beautiful instruments and will fit perfectly into a workshop already equipped with my hanging brackets for shelves.
While holding the violin with the left hand, all you have to do is bring it naturally under the bracket, then hook the scroll there, which is then trapped in any lateral movement. The distance of the instrument from the wall is sufficient to prevent any contact, which avoids scratching the varnish, but it is recommended to leave the shoulder rest mounted as a precaution.
Each wall bracket is delivered with 2 stainless steel screws and 2 dowels suited for solid or hollow walls.
Compatible with violins and violas of all sizes, featuring a traditional scroll. Not suitable for cellos.
